2020 Summer School InformationTop of Page

Summer School will begin 6/15 and must be completed by 7/31.

For Phoenix High School and ATLAS, students are able to continue to work on courses they were previously working on, and the format will be the same as during Distance Learning.

For Lincoln High School students the following courses will be offered:

English: 9, 10, 11, 12 A and B for each grade level (A = semester 1, B = semester 2)
Math: 1, 2 & 3 and Consumer Math A and B for each course*
History: US and World, A and B for each course
Health and Geography

Courses are open to students who have previously received and D or an F in those courses.
Math however, can get complicated and consultation with a counselor is necessary prior to completing an application to avoid doing a class unnecessarily.

Summer School 2020 will have an Independent Study format. All work will be via the online platform called Odysseyware (for English, Math and Health) and thru GoogleClassroom (for History). The teachers will be available to help students through the help button, googleclassroom and email. Expect that there will be at least a 24 hour turnaround time to answer questions. Do not expect a response on the weekend.

https://wpusd.owschools.com (for English) or https://wpusd2.owschools.com (for math and health)

There are no attendance requirements. All work will be completed off campus.

There will be NO PARTIAL Credits given. You must finish the course and each of the requirements with a passing grade in EACH UNIT.

There is a pacing guide in Odysseyware that will help you complete the course on time. Please use the due dates to help you.

Each course has its own syllabus. Please refer to the syllabus for specific questions about a course, what work is required and how it is graded. All are located on the Phoenix High School website (phs.wpusd.org)

NOTE: Do not expect anyone to remind you to get work completed. Credit recovery is ALL UP TO THE STUDENT!!!
