Center for Land Based Learning

We are excited to announce a new partnership with the Center for Land-Based Learning, a nonprofit organization that helps students prepare for careers in the agriculture industry. Learn more here.

Through this program, called FARMS, students will explore careers in ag tech, animal science, agricultural production, and related college majors. Partnerships with UC Davis and Cosumnes River College provide valuable connections to higher education and industry leaders.

Participants must commit to seven field days throughout the year, visiting local industries and universities to learn about a wide range of agriculture careers. Students who complete the program will earn a certificate of completion, may be considered for financial scholarships, and can earn elective credits and meet environmental science graduation requirements. All field day dates will be posted on the school website calendar.
